The design of this apartment just outside the city is based on the idea of exploiting the contrast of two pairs of opposites: the rationalist, minimal language which mixes with the organic nature of curved bodies (the kitchen, for example, which becomes a staircase) and the white of most of the surfaces in the house combined with an anthracite stoneware floor and poplar bark cladding. The end result is a contemporary rustic, airy and fluid but also warm and welcoming, in harmony with the Lombard countryside visible from the windows.
