The Casa W project aims to resolve the gap between the living room and the terrace of a Neapolitan apartment. The open space featured a series of unrelated elements: the kitchen, the staircase necessary to reach the level of the terrace, located at +1.35m from the living room, the sofa area and the dining space. The proposed solution is characterized by a “soft” false ceiling, capable of adapting to the different conditions of the large room and enveloping the sofa and dining table environments, and by a curvilinear wooden structure that visually connects the access to the terrace with the kitchen, transforming into a balustrade and suspended shelf.
