M Architettura is a team of professionals specializing in interior design and architecture with over fifteen years of experience in the field. At the heart of our work is a simple yet ergonomic and immersive spatiality, the result of a blend of traditional minimalism and the harmony of the human body and natural structures.

Our M recalls the sea (mare in italian), whose energy shapes the unique lines of landscapes and seabeds.

founder

Mario Coppola is an architect and professor of design at Federico II University. He trained at Zaha Hadid’s studio and founded M Architettura in 2010, upon returning from London, to devote himself to his vision: bringing the richness of natural landscapes into the home without losing the character of Mediterranean architecture. From this desire was born an empathetic minimalism that generates new relationships between the project’s elements, creating a resonance between landscape, human body, and space. Mario is the author of essays, including The architecture of Posthumanism (Domus 1016). His work has been published in national magazines and newspapers and exhibited at the Salone del Mobile, the Milan Triennale, and the 17th Venice Biennale. He wrote the autobiographical novels In cima al mondo, in fondo al cuore (2017) and Minerva (2022), both published by Giunti Editore.
